9/2 Hearing Info

Last night Fairy said she was hunting down the link for it. Figured I'd throw open a thread so the information when obtained doesn't get lost among everything else, and for anybody else interested in possibly attending.

Question, will any of Tawni's family be at the hearing?

If anyone can get me any time/locations details I will do my best to make it to the hearing. Gigi said she will be flying in to Phoenix about 11:30 and is willing to go along with me if possible.

I would call the court there. I am sure they'd tell you what time.

Here is the info on the court house-I PM'd GiGi all that I had until Det. L get's back to me-everything is still listed under Alonzo Fernandez DOB 7/28/72. The Judge set to hear the case is: Janna Vanderpool and the court case number is:

Praying today for Tawni's family, for God to given them the peace that only He can give. Praying for Judge Vanderpool to have the wisdom needed to inquire about Tawni's death and that the judge will be swift in giving Tawni the justice she deserves.

I got someone at the main number that Believe gave me; since Judge Vanderpool is with Division 6 I have to go through that division to get any info. Still working on getting someone to answer the phone. -_-

I just google-mapped the main address and even if I could get the time right this very minute I don't know if I'd make it. It's 2 1/2 hours away from me, but I'll keep trying.

I'm hoping to be able to go in the first place. =/ I can't get a hold of them, and it's too far of a drive just to turn around in case it's already finished.

The hearing was scheduled for 9AM AZ time-Mike Mazzone did not attend because he was afraid of what he might do when he saw WW. Good Call, probably. I have not heard anything yet-but Mike will call me or Det. L will email me I hope once everything has been worked out for today-there is already a date for 2009 on the docket with another hearing scheduled, so perhaps something is going on....

9AM? I wouldn't have made it anyways. I didn't wake up until 7:15AM to get my daughter up for school.

I'll be out of college by January so depending if that's ones an open or closed hearing I can just start attending the chain of hearings when I'm able.

Dang it! I was really hoping there'd be some new charges in honor of Tawni's birthday tomorrow! :furious: Guess we shouldn't really expect too much of a court system that basically let him go the first time and continues to charge him under what appear to be a fake name and DOB!

The courts drag everything out forever but in one way it might be a good thing because it gives the LE more time to hopefully come up with more evidence so maybe they can charge Alonzo with a homicide

Good point TL! It's so difficult to be patient at this point, but if it can help to strengthen the case - I'll try to chill out. Hope LE has had a chance to visit with Lindsey recently.....

Yeah I think some more time could be a good thing. It's not like they're just going to tack on extra charges because they know her name now.

Hopefully they'll take that new knowledge and start the investigation that should have been done 10 years ago and get some justice for this girl!
