Hi All
New to the forum and there is a vast amount of information on here to go through, so it might be easier to ask, I was just wondering if they ever found out what John Ramsey was doing for the missing 90 minutes?

GrimonTV,
Hi there, welcome to websleuths.

Short answer is no. Yet everyone has their own theory what he was doing, e.g. looking for JonBenet?

I reckon he was busy tweaking the forensic evidence, moving it about to suit the Ramsey version of events.

It's even possible he moved JonBenet from a previous hiding place and placed her into the wine-cellar?

Fleet White had already, early that morning long before JR went missing, looked into the wine-cellar and never noticed JonBenet, or the White Blanket covering her as a contrast with the floor surroundings.

There were Partially Opened gifts in the wine-cellar along with a bloodstained Barbie Nightgown belonging to JonBenet, patently someone was using the wine-cellar to dump forensic evidence?

Looks to me as if someone was moving evidence from one location to another, e.g. wine-cellar, so to break any link with the original crime-scene?

Then someone dreamt up the RN and the Ramsey's were off to the proverbial races.

Its this general aspect I reckon JR was tweaking, as he was planning ahead to find Jonbenet?

Regarding moving JonBenet I tend to agree, although I think there is a possibility she lay in that room all the time in the hope that someone would find her. When the police sweep and Fleet didn't uncover where she was, I think that maybe John got agitated and needed to have some resolution, so when the officer told him to have another look he quickly discovered her.

There is also the possibility I have always thought that she was placed in the suitcase with John thinking that he could place her body outside the house. When he tried to move her during those 90min he realised he couldn't and decided on discovering her in the house instead, however this is pure speculation on my part and has no basis in fact.
The unfortunate truth is that the errors made by the police in the first hours and days will probably mean JonBenet will never get justice.

I've put this out before, but I think he contacted Burke. Possibly by phone, but possibly in person at the White's. Honestly, whichever version of events you believe, I think it makes sense for him to have at the very least checked in, though I personally believe by that point in time they needed a long and private talk.
