Cancer-stricken Olivia Newton-John is reported to have only weeks to live as she struggles to overcome her third bout of the disease.

Newton-John was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2017. She also has a tumour in the base of her spine. It is the Grease star’s third cancer in her lifetime, but she has managed to successfully overcome it twice.

News site Now to Love reports people close to the 70-year-old say she is struggling to fight off her latest cancer and her prognosis is now “weeks, not months”.

If this report is accurate it is very sad indeed. I’ve always thought Ms. Newton-John to be a great actress and lovely person.

I saw her in concert Savannah Ga - believe it was 1975. What a voice! She was wearing white. Looked and sounded angelic.

Her American representative Michael Caprio laughed when contacted by news.com.au, saying reports of his client’s imminent demise were “hilarious”.

She is the granddaughter of a famous physicist and Noble Prize winner Max Born (the father of quantum mechanics).

Iconic Australian singer Olivia-Newton John was reported to only have 'weeks to live' on Wednesday.

However, her niece Tottie Goldsmith has confirmed that Olivia, 70, is 'in really good health'.

After her manager dismissed claims she had 'weeks to live' as 'laughable', the 70-year-old actress posted a video to Facebook on Wednesday updating fans on her health.

'I just want to say that the rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated!' said Olivia, who looked in happy spirits while speaking from her family home.

No those reports aren't true and we're proven so a couple of days later. A few tabloids printed the exact same article in Jan, none of the major news networks here picked it up, because it was clearly fake.
Onj spoke to several media outlets saying it was fabricated. Keeping it up and continued speculation are keeping this story alive though, unfortunately.

No those reports aren't true and we're proven so a couple of days later. A few tabloids printed the exact same article in Jan, none of the major news networks here picked it up, because it was clearly fake.
Onj spoke to several media outlets saying it was fabricated. Keeping it up and continued speculation are keeping this story alive though, unfortunately.

So glad she's ok. I am just finishing her new book (it was released March 2019) and she's just so delightful and charming. I got the audiobook version since she is the one who reads it. I especially love the fact that it's uplifting, and not a gossipy tell all. There are fun stories about her growing up and getting into singing, Grease, meeting the Queen, falling in love (a few times!) Sometimes it’s just time to simplify your life. It doesn’t mean something horrible has happened. It just means that there can be peace of mind with less to worry about. Large properties like that take tremendous resources to manage and to keep current with.

That’s very true, great points! She has a full and busy life, and yes, it’s just that much more to deal with.
