Air Canada passengers removed from plane

I saw this story yesterday. We probably don't have all the facts, of course, but I wondered what people's thoughts were. There have been several incidents lately of similar situations where passengers were faced with pretty disgusting conditions.

This never used to happen. Airlines used to have custodial staff who came on planes to clean up something like that before the flight continued or the plane was used again. JMO the airlines are just pinching pennies while earning record high profits.

A 78-year-old man was downgraded from Qantas' business class so an off-duty pilot could take his seat: report

The man told the Melbourne radio station 3AW that after he complained, Qantas apologized and offered him 5,000 frequent-flyer points.

This was a story I had seen last month. This one was Air France. The airline clearly knew of the blood because when the crew radioed about it, the airline knew all about it. Can you imagine if you ran a restaurant and tried to get away with just leaving blood and feces and vomit laying around? Your local health department would close you down and not let you reopen until inspections are passed.

Absolutely. And they were already in the air and turned around. And did not threaten to put other passengers on the no fly list for complaining.
