I found a couple things of interest regarding Arnold's talents:

<<An Inuit stone carving depicting a man embracing a woman from behind, done by Arnold Kayutak of Wainwright, Alaska. Tragically, Kayutak disappeared in in 1989 and never was found.>>

<<Carvings were done by Arnold Kayutak an Eskimo employee and friend.>>

<<About the Artist: Arnold Kayutak was an Inupiat Alaskan born in Wainwright area of Alaska about 1929. He was a noted hunter and keen observer of traditional life. As an Eskimo artist he was renown for his toothcarvings but his talent for other types of carving--soap stone & hard woods, are also coveted. The artists labels for his works in the 1960s picture a handsome man with fur hood, simply described as "The Alaskan". To many people "South of 60", Arnold Kayutak epitomized the mystic and allure of the far North. Kayutka died mysteriously sometime in 1989, when he disappeared from his home in June, probably while hunting. According to the Anchorage Times it was not realized he was missing until months later. Local hunters searched for him for months and never found him.>>
