Bianca was last seen in Anchorage on 09-16-2024. She is currently experiencing homelessness. Family members haven't seen her for approximately a month.

This is the second post i've seen today of a woman missing in anchorage, both within the span of about a month. I hope this is just a coincidence and that they're both found safe.

People often don't realize how BIG Anchorage is. Likely not considered "big" compared to say, Seattle. But at least a third of a million in population. Homelessness is happening there, more than most probably realize. So many of the homeless are grouped in with substance abusers which do make up a portion of the homeless population but it can just as be likely for those experiencing relationship issues (family or relationship breakup/divorce), lack of affordable and accessable housing, behavior health issues, losing a job and not being able to find work, being evicted, or an unplanned medical or personal emergency. I do hope she is found and gets some assistance this winter.
