He intended to visit two men, Dennis Pungowiyi and Vincent Sevouliok, who left Gambell Oct. 11 for a two to three week hurtling trip. He found their food supplies almost intact in the cabin. There were no skins or rifles or motors for their boat, he reported. He said there were no tracks in the area.
