Circumstances of Disappearance Gerald went missing from Metlakatla after a domestic dispute. His overturned canoe was recovered in the Chester Bay area of Annette Island. His campsite was also located but he was not in the area. Air and ground searches were unsuccessful in locating him. He is presumed to be deceased.
