Circumstances of Disappearance
Louis was last seen on the evening of 05/29/1989 in his skiff in the Klawock area. His skiff was found damaged and the gas tank empty on Peratrovich Island. An extensive search was conducted in the area on land, in the water as well as from the air, but he was never located.
