AK - plane with 10 on board missing near Nome Alaska

Choppy seas and frigid temperatures had hampered rescue efforts, with the Coast Guard and Air Force both deploying teams.

From the pics it looks like it landed on land, not the ocean ?
Rest in peace to the three found deceased.
Hoping for a miracle for the other seven but it doesn't look good.
Imo.

AP saying they were found on sea ice, sadly no survivors. I was also hoping for a miracle ... RIP and blue skies to them all.

I wonder if they crawled out of the plane, alive, and froze to death before they were located. Autopsies should tell us.

"Chilling history of Alaska 'triangle'

where Bering plane went missing with 10 on board.

The region has been the home to some 20,000 people disappearing since the 1970s,
according to a 2022 report by The History Channel."
