Found Safe AL - Alisa Guy, 30, & Eric Steinwinder, 43, Tuscaloosa, poss boarded a bus to Jackson, MS, 14 Jul 2022

Tuscaloosa Police investigators are asking for the public’s assistance to locate a Tuscaloosa woman reported missing Wednesday.
Officers are currently searching for Alisa Brooke Guy, 30, and Eric Frank Steinwinder, 43.

Guy’s mother contacted police Tuesday to report her daughter missing, saying she hadn’t heard from her since Thursday.

Investigators with TPD’s Criminal Investigations Division have been unable to contact Steinwinder, although they have spoken with a family member and neighbors who spoke with or saw him as recently as Wednesday. Officers are looking into an unconfirmed report that the pair may have traveled by bus to Jackson, Mississippi on Thursday.

Guy, whose 30th birthday was Monday, has brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5’4” and weighs approximately 200 pounds.
Steinwinder is 5’7” and weighs around 250. He has a goatee, brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who has seen or has information about Guy or Steinwinder is asked to contact TPD immediately at 205-349-2121.

7/21 UPDATE: Investigators spoke with Steinwinder, who said he and Guy traveled to Jackson, Mississippi together on Thursday. He said he returned alone Monday. After speaking with officers, he was transported to the Tuscaloosa County Jail on an outstanding warrant from another agency.
We are working with investigators in Jackson in the ongoing search for Alisa Guy. Anyone with information is asked to call 205-349-2121 or any local law enforcement agency.

Officers with the Jackson Police Department contacted us today after they located Alisa Guy safe and unharmed.
Alisa was reported missing by her mother earlier this week. Alisa and her boyfriend traveled to Mississippi on a Greyhound bus Thursday, July 14. He returned alone, telling her family members that he didn’t know where she was.
Alisa called TPD from Jackson today after seeing Facebook posts and learning she had been reported missing. Officers in Jackson located her and confirmed to us she was safe.
