Angela has been missing since March 14, 2005. She was last seen leaving her home around 2am. She left behind her purse, and paycheck. Her keys were found in the ignition of her truck. (Trying to find a link, only one I have found so far, requires a subscription.)

On Friday, her body was found weighted down in a creek, in Atalla, Alabama. Two suspects are in custody. This beautiful young lady is survived by her parents, and two small children.

I found these in The Gadsen Times archives:

snipped from article above:

The body of Angela Leeks, 22, was found in a pond off Littleton Road outside Attalla several days after she was reported missing in March 2005.

Anthony Leeks apologized Monday when he pleaded guilty to killing his wife in March 2005.

Leeks was sentenced to 30 years in prison by Etowah County Circuit Judge Allen Millican...

...Leeks also was ordered to pay $7,500 in burial expenses and $10,000 to the crime victims compensation assessment.

Leeks pleaded guilty without any agreement in sentencing

RIP Angela. Prayers for your family.
