The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

In addition to a 1999 coin in his pocket (the latest date among several), according to the news article posted in Namus he also had distinctive dentals:

- missing a central, upper left tooth & wore a partial dental plate in its place
- missing other upper and lower teeth (unspecified in the article) that had not been replaced by dental work

Reconstructive artist suggests people look at the eye area and not hair, ears or lips. Also the hair and eye colour is a guesstimate:

According to the above Othram article:

"Moneyham’s information had been entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) in 2010 under case number MP4787. He was last seen on July 6, 1999, in the Birmingham area, leaving home for a quick trip to the store—but he never returned. His wife reported him missing shortly thereafter. An investigation into Darrell Moneyham’s death remains ongoing."

That is definitely interesting.

In 2023, authorities submitted a sample to Othram, Inc. for Forensic-Grade Genome Sequencing.

Othram developed a comprehensive DNA profile of a male of primarily African origin, Yates said.

Othram also provided the Jefferson County Coroner/Medical Examiner’s Office a report produced by their forensic genetic genealogy team containing leads as to multiple persons spread across the country who were genetically related to remains.

Darrell Moneyham was last seen in Birmingham. He left to go to the store for a minute and he never came back. Moneyham's wife reported him missing in July 1999.
Two months earlier, he pleaded guilty to trafficking ****. He was given probation but not wanting to pay court costs, he never met with his probation officer. A warrant for his arrest was sworn on August 31, 1999.
Foul play or a desire to avoid prosecution were never ruled out as possible causes for his disappearance. Moneyham had earlier brushes with the law for drugs and misdemeanor harassment.

I believe this thread may possibly be connected to this one, based on clothing, location, and dates. If so, How do we combine?
