Found Safe AL - Carolina, 16, & Charles Harrelson, 14, Auburn, 6 Aug 2017

Carolina McKenzie Harrelson, 16, and her brother, Charles Rhett Harrelson Jr., 14, were last seen at their residence on Aug. 6 in the 700 block of Hunter Court in Auburn.

They possibly left the residence in anticipation of a custody hearing. Although the two are believed to be in hiding, of their own free will, officers are actively investigating the matter to determine their location and ensure their well being.

Carolina is described as a white female, brown hair, hazel eyes, 5-foot-10, 135 lbs. Charles is described as a white male, brown hair, hazel eyes, 5-foot-6, 120 lbs.

Poor kids. I hate it when kids are brought in to divorce drama. Although, to be fair, I don't know the specifics here.

not if one parent is accusing the other of some type of being unfit. my step sons are 16 and 14 (and 9) and we had the custody battle with TWO emergency screenings, and each child had their own GAL. this wasn't by our desire. mom wouldn't settle for anything other than having all the rights.

Two Auburn teenagers who have been missing for more than two weeks have returned home, police said.

Carolina McKenzie Harrelson, 16 and her brother, Charles Rhett Harrelson Jr., 14, are safe and in good health, according to Auburn police. The teenagers had been staying with a family friend.

Glad they are safe. Now the parents need to put their differences aside and put the needs of these kids first. IMO.
