Alabama day care worker charged with murdering infant
Demopolis police say an infant’s death this week has become a homicide investigation, and an employee at the child’s day care has been arrested.
Flowers said video footage from the day care and personnel interviews led to the arrest of an employee on Friday. A murder warrant was obtained against Versa Mae Simmons, 68, of Demopolis.
