Donna Michelle Calloway’s disappearance has also received little coverage since she went missing on Aug. 28.

Police report that she left her home in August and never returned.

Calloway is 5 foot 3 inches and weighs 119 pounds. She has a tattoo of the name “Michelle” on her left leg and a picture of a rose with the name “Annie” on her right thigh.

Missing black women's cases are often unsolved, underreported. Here are 7 from Montgomery

I feel like Lakira Goldsmith (vanished 11/27/18), Keyquanna Burton (vanished 3/6/19)and Donna Calloway's (vanished 8/28/19)cases are related. All 3 from Montgomery, all 3 left home and never returned without any indication they were leaving for an extended period, all 3 are young black girls missing within 3-4 months of each other from the same city. I wonder if the police have thought about this?

This is my hometown. There has been talk of Ibraham Yazeed being involved in some way with Lakira Goldsmith's disappearance from an apartment complex where several women lived. Yazeed is in jail now waiting to be tried for the Aniah Blanchaed murder.

Great article. @CastlesBurning TY for posting the link!

Donna Calloway's children didn't bother with making Christmas lists this year. They aren't concerned with presents and they aren't really excited about the holiday.

Not if it's spent without their mom.

They told their aunt, Kawonna Abner, who is raising them, to use money for presents toward hiring a detective to help find their mother.

Donna Michelle Calloway – The Charley Project

Last updated December 23, 2020; date of disappearance corrected, details of disappearance updated.

Date of Disappearance
June 2018

Details of Disappearance
Calloway was last seen leaving her residence in Montgomery, Alabama sometime in June 2018. She has never been heard from again. The police refused to accept a missing persons report for her until August 2019, and many sources give that date as the date of her disappearance.

Calloway has eight children. They have never lived with her full-time and have been raised by her younger sister, but Calloway kept in touch and saw them on a regular basis. Her sister stated Calloway loved her children and wouldn't have abandoned them. Her case remains unsolved.

Noting from link..
''Calloway has a mild intellectual disability. She is able to work and can cook and do other household tasks, but because of her condition she is easily influenced.''
