Found Deceased AL - Edward 'Eddie' Abbott, 55, Adamsville, 15 Oct 2017

Edward Lee "Eddie" Abbott was last seen about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15, when he walked away from his home at Cloverleaf Trailer Park in Adamsville. He has not been seen or heard from since that night.

Abbott was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored button up shirt and a white jacket. Police said they are not ruling out foul play.

Abbott lives with his mother, and the two are very close.

Sergeant: Skeletal remains discovered in Adamsville belonged to missing man

Adamsville authorities identified skeletal remains found Tuesday as those of a missing 55-year-old man.

Abbott's family members addressed the media about the findings in a press conference held by the Adamsville Police Wednesday afternoon.
