Police say his wife woke up Friday morning to find him gone. His truck was located near the lake at the Rescue Squad in Guntersville where he is known to walk the levee.

A search was done but he was not found.

Guntersville police say he does have medical issues that requires daily medications.

The police have been busy over there in recent days. They found 3 other bodies near where he was found. All are unrelated to each other though except 1 which was a double homicide.

Now they are saying 3 of the deaths are related and the 4th is likely natural causes.

Hmmmm - I thought I'd read something about a family being murdered bc the mother was tied to a cartel. IIRC, it was the mom and two kids who were killed. But thought it was closer to Bham area. Huntsville maybe? Rats, now I'll have to go look... Thanks for the update!

ETA: I was mostly off. Gma Mendoza was killed in Huntsville bc of ties to Sinaloa cartel. Her Gdaughter witnessed the murder, so the killers then beheaded her. Auggghhh.... I want all of it out of my noggin. Too much sadness. So what are the other 3, I wonder?

Four bodies found in Guntersville

Guntersville Police Chief Jim Peterson said on Friday officers found Marie Kitchens Martin, 74, of Guntersville and her great grandson, Colton Ryan Lee, 7, of Huntsville, dead in Martin’s home on Mulberry Street in Guntersville.

While officers were on-scene, they were told a neighbor that lived directly across the street hadn’t been seen in 10 days. Police conducted a welfare check and found 65-year-old Martha Dale Reliford dead.

Peterson said there is no suspect in custody, and there is no “true suspect” at this time.

Christopher Michael Chambers is a “person of interest” and he is in custody at this time. Peterson said Chambers has open warrants with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office and will be turned over to them in time.

Pretty unusual and very creepy. Sheesh.

Here is the guy they arrested for the murders. His name is Jimmy Spencer. He is a homeless criminal. Marshall County DA breaks down charges on Guntersville triple homicide suspect
