James went missing from the small town of Fulton, AL. According to loved ones, he had a routine of walking along the creek (I presume Bassett Creek) every day. On July 24, 2024, James was captured on a surveillance camera on the phone at 2:31 p.m. NamUs says he was at the pole mill, while a news source says he was at a gas station. Either way, a witness claimed he said, "y'all will miss me." It is unknown who he was on the phone with. He was reported missing two days later by his loved ones.
Clarke County Police have said that they believe he may have caught a ride in a car or train. A train line does run through Fulton. But there has been no trace of him or contact since July 24th.
Multiple searches have been conducted since. Police have used drones, boats, and walked the creek, but there has been no trace of James.
I believe the photo where he has a shaved head is the photo taken by the surveillance cameras. It appears that he cut his hair not long before he disappeared.
If you have any information or sightings, contact the Clarke County PD at 251-275-3773. James is an adult, and it's possible he left of his own volition, but after two years of no sightings, there is cause for concern.
