The family last saw her December 2. Her father said he last talked to her daughter on phone on December 4, and she said she was in the Coaling area.

“I talked to her at 5:30 a.m. because I looked at the clock it wasn’t even daylight yet. She sounded fine but I wasn’t looking at her, I talked her,” her father said.

Her mother also talked to her on the phone that day. Since then, they have not heard from her.

“We will try to subpoena phone records to see where they were last used, we will do every effort we can to locate her,” police said.

[h=1]Missing woman found dead was wrapped in plastic with hands and feet bound, records show[/h]
According to a deposition made public online Wednesday, investigators found Brannon's body wrapped in plastic with her wrists and ankles bound. When they spoke with Sexton, Brannon was at his home and the two became involved in a physical altercation.

Sexton said Brannon sustained an injury to her head that was bleeding badly. "The defendant gave multiple stories about how the victim's head was injured," the deposition reads.
He told detectives he went to sleep after the altercation, and woke up to find Brannon dead on the floor. He then said he wrapped the victim in plastic and moved her to a trash dump behind his home.

Assuming she had been dead since the. 4th and body was just located last week ? Cvaldez... Ezkly why would you have any purposeful need to bind her if she died on the floor ....

Man out on bond for murder charge jailed again after machete attack

http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2017/01/man_out_on_bond_for_murder_cha.html

A Cottondale man with a history of violence, especially against woman, and who is out on bond in the slaying of a woman is now back in jail after lawmen say he attacked another woman with a machete.

Charles Richard Sexton, 48, is charged with second-degree assault. Tuscaloosa authorities said Coaling police and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Beulah Drive just before 8 a.m. Friday on an assault call, said Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit Capt. Gary Hood.

When they arrived on the scene, a 33-year-old woman told them Sexton had cut her on the arm with the machete during an argument at Sexton's home. Investigators saw a laceration on the victim's arm, and took Sexton into custody without incident.

Sexton in December was charged with murder in the death of 30-year-old Jennette "Jenny" Sims Brannon. She was had been missing for several weeks until her body was discovered on Dec. 21.

Coaling and Cottondale are very low income, sad areas. My ex husband's parents lived there for years until crime and the economic conditions forced them to relocate.
