Found Deceased AL - Jeremy Abbott, 20, Haleyville, 19 June 2017

A man has been missing from Haleyville, Alabama since Monday, June 19.

20-year-old Jeremy Keith Abbott was last seen at a home on Bennifield Dairy Farm Road.

He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes, and a 1997 tattoo on his chest and various tattoos on his arms.

“That’s not like him,” said his mother Kim Asencio, who filed the missing person report with the Haleyville Police Department. “He has never gone more than three days without talking with me. None of his family or friends have heard from him.”

Asencio said her son was last seen leaving a friend’s house in Haleyville on June 19.

“I just want to know he’s all right,” she said.

Haleyville Police investigator Tim Stein said the body of Jeremy Keith Abbott, 20, was found around 9:20 this morning.
