Presumed Located AL - Joshua Norfleet, 20, Bessemer, 9 Dec 2017

Family members told deputies that Joshua Malik Norfleet, 20, had not been seen since Dec. 9, when he left his grandmother's home in Bessemer to go to the bank. Norfleet left the house driving his grandmother's 2012 gray Hyundai Sonata, with the Alabama license plate number 1CT7781.

Norfleet has not shown up for work, or had any contact with his employer or family since that day. Norfleet is described as a black male, 5'10" and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

I know! I believe there was some snow. I'm hoping he's safe. 10 days since Joshua was last seen!

It snowed on the 8th and most was melted on the 9th. This is very sad, I am local and had not heard anything about this until stumbling on it today. Wish there was more in the news.

Bessemer is on the outside of the Birmingham metro, to the north/west. I have also seen some articles state that he is from Center Point, an area to the north/east of downtown Birmingham. There are some small ponds/lakes around, and larger lakes within an hour drive. I can’t imagine there being any right around that area, but I could be wrong.

It’s really frustrating that there has been so little news, and with huge gaps in the story. I have a bad feeling, but am hoping for the best.
