Missing: Birmingham police searching for mother and daughter

Birmingham Police detectives are searching for a missing mom and her 7-year-old daughter.

Birmingham police tell ABC 33/40 that 43-year-old Kristen Hirsh and her daughter Julia were last seen Thursday in Rushton Park on Highland Ave. Around 5:15 PM, Hirsh reportedly made contact with a family member by phone while at the Petco on Hwy 280.

Kristen Hirsh is 5 feet 5 inches tall with blond hair. She was last seen wearing a blue boat anchor patterned sundress.

Julia Hirsh is 3 feet 6 inches tall blonde/brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, pink shorts, and red boots.

Ms. Hirsh is driving a black Toyota, Rav-4 with a license plate number of 1CZ7207.
