Two children that were reported missing with their mother Monday have been found safe, but Investigators with the Selma Police Department are still trying to locate their mother.
Mary Timmons Scott and her two daughters, Alee and Bri, were reported missing by a friend Monday evening.
Lt. Tory Neely with the Selma Police Department said Tuesday morning the two children have been found safe with family in Birmingham, but they are still looking for Scott.
We are backtracking and talking to the last people that saw her, and we are trying to get cell phone information, Neely said.
Neely said the department is also trying to make contact with the Scotts ex-husband, Greg, but so far they have not been able to make contact with him.
Were trying to get up with him now. Weve been contacting their employers and the schools and all of that, he said.
