I have to wonder what Mr. Benefield has been doing over the course of the last 10 months since his arrest. That's quite an addiction he has there and I'd be shocked to see proof that he's steered clear of all computers and minors during those months.
With all due respect, I think Agent Stewart's statement is a gross understatement of the situation.

Cottonwood [AL] man gets 187-year sentence for child pornography production, possession
".....Circuit Court Judge Larry Anderson sentenced Michael Timothy Benefield, 47, of McCoy Road to serve 17 years in prison for each of the 11 counts of production of child pornography, for a total of 187 years. Benefield will also serve 10 years for each of the 11 counts of possession of child pornography and a 10-year prison sentence for a felony marijuana charge, which will all run concurrently with the production sentence.
Houston County Sheriff’s deputies took Benefield into custody at the conclusion of the hearing after he’d been free on bond. Agents with the Alabama Bureau of Investigation arrested Benefield in November 2009, and he pleaded guilty to the charges earlier this month.
Katherine Stewart, an ABI agent with the cyber crimes division, said agents found 25,489 pornographic images on Benefield’s computer, and of those 15,883 were child pornography images. She said they also recovered 1,079 pornographic videos.
“These images include pictures of infants,” Stewart said. “These were what I consider sexual abuse pictures.....”
