A woman charged with killing a fellow Alabama fan after the end of last weekend's Iron Bowl football game was angry that the victim and others didn't seem upset over the Crimson Tide's loss to archrival Auburn, said the sister of the slain woman.

There are people that become intoxicated get a split personality.They change like they are possessed.I wonder what she was like before the murder.Has anyone come forward and said what a nice girl she is?Could be drugs involved on top of alcohol.

Sentenced
A 31-year-old Fairfield woman was sentenced Tuesday to more than 14 years in prison for her guilty plea in the shooting death of another woman after a 2013 Iron Bowl party in Hoover.

Adrian Laroze Briskey was sentenced by Shelby County Circuit Court Judge Corey Moore to 14 years and nine months. the maximum prison sentence under the guidelines. She will be given credit for any time she spent in jail pending the outcome of her case and at some point will be eligible for parole.

Moore ordered Briskey to be placed in custody to begin her sentence Tuesday.

Briskey had been charged with murder but in April pleaded guilty to reckless manslaughter in a "best interest plea" with the Shelby County District Attorney's Office.
