*obviously title should say yard and not years

An incredibly strange listing.
There remains were found, according to the description, 100 yards away from 'The Home'.
They're of a black male whose age is unknown. His name was possibly Clarance Dixon. A weight of 28 pounds is listed.
He was fully clothed and carried several items like keys, a box cutter and 'white metal hardware'.

It is strange the way it’s reported. I’m sure they mean he was found 100 yards away from the home on the property, but they aren’t specific about the property. And 100 yards in which direction? If 10, 20, 50 years pass and this home is no longer there, the location is even more vague.

SBM

Clarance Dixon, 71, was last seen on October 3, 2021.
...common for Dixon to walk from his home, located near Cantelou Road, to visit relatives in Southlawn community
...occasionally works general labor jobs in Montgomery and Greenville areas.

I would guess they know it's him but can't get ahold of anything to conclusively prove it's him (ie no family members traced to give DNA, no dentals, etc). There's a few cases like that on NamUs.

Reminds me of all the "unidentified" Does in TX and AZ that literally have an identification card with first and last name that can easily be matched to social media profiles, but sit in NamUs forever..
