Probably just some idiot kids who thought they were cool.

possibly, but how did they dig up the skull anyway?

as I kind of implied upthread, I have a sick sad feeling that this skull possibly came from an abandoned graveyard that was partially eroded or washed up. There are loads of forgotten and dilapidated cemeteries all over the nation, and here in the south I know I've heard of a few burial grounds that have been neglected for over a century in the nooks and crannies of the greater metropolitan area. Several of the more forgotten ones I've read about were for the non-whites in particular.

I decided to come back to this case and tried to figure out which cemetery the skull must've came from. these two cemeteries are the closest to where the skull was found, and its possible that the skull was dug up and dumped along the side of the road or it could've been that the body was simply decaying there for a long time. they likely took the skull, drove away and dumped it there with the medallion glued.
Is anybody able to contact either one of these cemeteries to see if they've had anything relating to this case or maybe a possible grave-jacking?
