*alleged* Baby Lisa sightings.

  • #21
There are so many children that look like Lisa. I don't doubt we are going to have these sightings regularly.

Exactly the reason I started the thread. There are bound to be more over the next few days, unless she is found before that.

I'm going to go dig up links in a minute and add them to this post.

1. We have the neighbor that thought they saw a man carrying a child wearing only a diaper on the night/early morning that Lisa disappeared.

2. We apparently have a second sighting that corroborates that sighting.

3. There are the women in the diner that left without eating after they noticed that someone was watching them and reporting them.

4. Another sighting the same day as the diner sighting, also in Kansas City.

Any others? (Links will be up in just a minute.)

Mods if this doesn't need it's own thread, then merge or delete with my apologies. I know the diapered baby sighting already has a thread, but people seem to be getting confused as to how many supposed sightings there have been and where they were.

The link above details all the sightings to this point, some that have been discounted, and some that have not been directly addressed as to their validity.

I find it odd, that the Manhatten sighting with the two women in the deli, that drove off in a black car, was so quickly (what 4 hours later?) confirmed by police to not be baby Lisa, yet the media hasn't found these ladies to interview, nor have they reached out to share their story on what happened. I mean everyone else seems to be.

Don't get me wrong. I never believed these ladies had baby Lisa from the beginning, but I do find it odd that these sightings are discredited so quickly, yet they can't find the real Lisa. For the first time in all my years of following cases this police force makes me feel they are narrow minded and only focusing on the parents.

I was watching tv and a toys r us commercial came on, and I'd swear that baby was Lisa. Wonder how many other viewers thought the same and did report it lol.

I don't understand what is strange about that. They were found because they paid for their food with a credit card. Apparently they have no desire to get on TV, not everyone does.

Does anyone know whether LE has worked with the neighborhood witnesses to put together a composite sketch of the man they say they saw? If not, why not?

Thanks Jenny. How were they found by a credit card if no names were known, or license plates of car taken? Sorry if I'm being dumb here, but could you lead me to a link that will explain this to me. I have not heard this before. Thanks

They ordered food and paid by credit card. That information was given to LE who tracked them down. Obviously their names are not known to us but LE knew the names because of the credit card receipt.

Ok..so if I'm following correctly, after whoever phoned into the tipline about the ladies, the police went to the deli, and the owner/server knew who they were referring to from memory, and knew these two ladies had paid by credit card. Makes sense. I guess with myself being a Canadain living in the sticks I had visions of a deli in Manhatten having so many customers come and go constantly one wouldn't be able to recall.

Thanks Jenny.

They paid with their food with credit card. Cops show up to restaurant. Waitress says, "Here is their ticket. They paid with a visa ending in xxxx at 12:36 pm." Cops call credit card company. I don't think they need a warrant because the restaurant would be entitled to a name and phone number in case there was a problem. Credit card company tells them the name and cops take it from there.

I guess.

If LE tracks down someone by credit card, all they would need to do is show a birth certificate to prove that a baby is theirs. I don't think it would take very long to verify that a child belongs to someone.
