Amir was last seen with his mother, Zinah Jennings, in Columbia, South Carolina, around November 22, 2011. Amir and his mother were reported missing by a family member in early December 2011. On December 24, 2011, Amir's mother was located after she was involved in a car accident. Amir was not in the car. On December 29, 2011, Amir's mother was arrested and charged with unlawful conduct towards a child, after she was unable to provide information regarding Amir's whereabouts. FOUL PLAY IS SUSPECTED.
