What an amazing thing to watch on TV back then. Looking at the moon in OH. My friend & I decided we were bored and scraped up 17 bucks to have a party to celebrate the moon walk (We bought soft drinks and lots of snacks). Parents were there supervising too. I met my first boyfriend that night. Everytime someone talks about the moon, I remember that day with a smile & the amazing event I witnessed at 13 by Neil Armstrong, Buzz and crew. Even today, bravery comes to mind. They were still in their infancy compared to the last Mar's precision landing of Curiosity.

May you rest in peace Neil Armstrong.
