Fort Smith Police asking for your help finding a Misiing Endangered Person:

The Fort Smith Police Department is asking for your help in locating a missing and endangered person. On September 5, 2018 Fort Smith Police arrested 19 year old Lewis Shores in connection with a double homicide investigation. Detectives with the Fort Smith Police Department have been attempting to make contact with Angela Shores regarding the investigation. Ms. Shores allegedly suffers from a mental disability. Detective Jeff Taylor with the Crimes against Persons Unit would like to speak with Ms. Shores to check her welfare.

Anyone with information about Angela Shores or knowledge of her whereabouts is asked to call the Fort Smith Police Department at (479) 709-5100 or to contact their local law enforcement agency.

Missing/Endangered Woman Sought by Fort Smith Police
She is the mother of Lewis Shores, 19, who is being investigated in connection to the deaths of elderly couple Jimmy and Norma Grubb. They were found dead inside their Fort Smith home at the 7700 block of Hermitage Drive on Tuesday.

Lewis Shores was captured during a manhunt in Logan County Wednesday. He is being held at the Sebastian County Detention Center on charges of Aggravated Residential Burglary, Theft of Property, and Failure to Appear.

They are not saying if she went missing before his arrest or after. Could she have been an accomplice or could she be another victim?

There was also a fire at an apartment where she had lived - the same day the bodies of the murdered couple were found.

Double Homicide Suspect’s Mother Missing, Considered Endangered

A fire broke out on Tuesday (Sep. 4) at an apartment she had recently been evicted from. Residents at the Southbrooke Apartments in Fort Smith confirmed to 5NEWS that Angela Shores lived in the top unit.

The couple found dead in their home lived not far from Angela Shores apartment, putting their deaths and a fire investigation within a few miles from each other.

I believe they found the other two bodies, in the same fire, days ago.

The article gives the couple being found at a different address than the other body.

Update: Man Possibly Connected to Sept. Double Homicide Dies in Ft. Smith Hospital

The Sebastian County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) says Lewis Shores, 19, was pronounced dead around 9:30 Thursday night, several hours after he had been rushed to the hospital.

Shores' body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

An earlier version of the story reports

Lewis Shores, 19, was found unresponsive in his cell at the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center at approximately 2:15 p.m., according to a Sebastian County Sheriff's Office news release.

"A plastic bag was found over his head," the news release states. "CPR was administered by detention personnel."

Shores was isolated by himself in the cell.
