A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a University of Arkansas student whose body was found in her locked bedroom after residents complained of a bad odor coming from her apartment.

Brandon D. Sanders, 20, of Nashville in Howard County, was arrested Friday in connection with the death of April Renetta Love, 20, a junior political science major at the university.

Officers said that the two knew each other and that police had evidence linking Sanders to Love's death.
