A Mena man arrested for rape who fled Arkansas with his wife and four children was captured Wednesday (July 10) afternoon in Manitoba, Canada, according to U.S. Marshals.

They were in Portage la Prairie about 50 miles west of Winnipeg.

A couple from Arkansas who fled the United States to avoid facing charges was found in Portage la Prairie yesterday after a two month search.

Hopefully they both serve their full sentences; he can sit in prison for 31yrs and she can sit for 15. No time off for good behavior, parole, no anything. It's time as a country we truly punish those who abuse children. I just pray the children with them while they were "hiding" out were not harmed in any way.
