SONORA, Ark. -- Arkansas State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 6-year-old out of Washington County.

The custodial guardians of 6-year-old Conner Roland Cannon say he disappeared after they saw a car near his home around 10:00 a.m..

Conner is believed to have been taken by his non-custodial mother.

The Washington County Sheriff's office says the car seen when Conner went missing have been located, but he and the person who took him are still missing.

Conner was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a black sweatshirt, and no shoes.

Anyone with information should contact the Washington County Sheriff's Department at 479-790-6603.

Arkansas State Police said a boy fitting Connor Cannon's description was seen in Westville, Oklahoma.

Police said the silver Sedan that was spotted driving away from his guardians' home on Saturday was located in Westville after it was involved in an accident.

Two women were seen with Connor walking away from the car, according to the release.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, has been determined that Connor was taken by his non-custodial mother, but has not been located.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office (WSCO) confirms that Connor Roland Cannon, 6, has been found safe in Adair County, Oklahoma and that the child's mother, Cathlina Rose Cannon, who does not have custody, has been arrested.
