Dishman had served one year of a 7 year prison term for burglary when he escaped. He would have been eligible for parole after serving 3 years, but now he must serve the remaining 6 years of his sentence and possibly additional time for escaping.
A person who met Dishman 5 years after his escape tipped off LE. Had that person known all along who he was? His mother also re-connected with him 6 months after he escaped. Will she and anyone else who concealed his whereabouts be charged with obstruction of justice and/or concealing a fugitive? His mother is probably in her 80's now, maybe 90's.
