Sheriff’s Office Investigates Homicide, Makes Arrest
On August 22, 2018 Northstar EMS and Cleburne County Deputies responded to the Oaks Apartments in Heber Springs regarding a 911 call for an unresponsive infant. When responders arrived, they made contact with Casey Warren, the infant’s father. The infant was transported by ambulance to the hospital, and later transferred to a Little Rock hospital where the infant died from sustained injuries. After reviewing medical examinations and interviewing involved parties, Casey Warren, 30, of Heber Springs, was arrested and charged with one count of First Degree Murder.
The investigation is still ongoing.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
