Silver Alert activated for missing Jacksonville man

Arkansas State Police has activated a Silver Alert for a Jacksonville for a missing 80-year-old man.

Jacksonville authorities said James Hockaday was last seen on Friday around 2 p.m. at 1105 Southeastern Ave. near Excel Park.

Police describe the missing person as a white male who has gray hair and brown eyes. He stands at 5'9" and weighs approximately 180 lbs.

Hockaday was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket and tan pants.

He might be traveling in a 1993 Red Buick Century with Arkansas license plate number 234073.
