Family continues search for missing Arkansas National Guardsman | thv11.com

Saturday, June 19, Patrick Larry was with friends near a boat ramp at Murray Park in Little Rock.
Around 8:30pm, they noticed Larry was missing.

Those friends say they were enjoying a night out near the water when Patrick told them he'd be right back. He walked in to the woods behind them and never returned.

He use to be a firefighter for Stuttgart, he's Red Cross trained and certified in life guarding and serves with the Arkansas National Guard, according to his family.

They also say it's not like Larry to just get up and walk away.

It’s around 5 miles from Murray Park to Broadway Bridge. Both locations sit on the Arkansas River.

I pray this is not Patrick Larry.

Body found in Arkansas River close to Broadway Bridge

Officials say a body was found near the train bridge over the Arkansas River just upstream from the Broadway Bridge.

Based on where he disappeared, he probably fell into the river. It's been wet here lately, it's already low and wet near the boat ramp so the woods along the banks are pretty slimy. It also depends on which set of woods he walked into. If you fall into the Arkansas in Arkansas, you aren't coming back out alive, the current is insane.

There used to be a homeless camp in the area woods, it might be relevant, but he probably went to take a leak and slipped into the river.
