•has some medical conditions and it appears he does not have all his needed medications

Spring sent his wife a text telling her he was going for a night ride on his motorcycle, according to the Newton County Sheriff. A person he was staying with saw him ride away on the motorcycle, but no one has had contact with Spring since then.

He was believed to be riding his black 2012 Harley Davidson Road King with Texas license plate 757 V3F.

********MISSING PERSON********

Newton County Sheriff Glenn Wheeler is asking for the public's help in locating a missing person.

Wheeler said 69 year old Raymond Spring was last seen in Deer, Arkansas on Thursday July 16, 2020 around 10:00 P.M. He sent his wife a text telling her he was going for a night ride on his motorcycle. A person he was staying with saw him ride away on the motorcycle, but no one has had contact with Spring since then.

Spring is a white male approximately 6'00", 200 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair. He was believed to be riding his black 2012 Harley Davidson Road King with Texas license plate 757 V3F.

Spring has some medical conditions and apparently does not have all his needed medications.

If anyone has an information about the case, they are asked to call the Newton County Sheriff's Office at (870) 446-5124, option 1.

Sheriff Wheeler said "we are very concerned about Mr. Spring and hope to get some answers for his family quickly."

Great questions. I’m wondering the same things.
Arkansas has some very steep terrain in parts. Surely they’ve looked for signs of an accident?

MOO, I’d guess from the license plate that he was visiting from out of state. He may be originally from the area if he felt confident about a night ride, though.

FOUND DECEASED

*******UPDATE********

Mr. Spring was found deceased late this evening. Sheriff Wheeler said "Mr. Spring was located along Arkansas Highway 16 near Nail. It appeared he had been involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. It is not the ending we were hoping for and our hearts and prayers go out to his family."

The Newton County Coroner was called in and the accident investigation was turned over to the Arkansas State Police.
