Brown’s sister posted to Facebook on Saturday afternoon offering a $1,000 reward for “his safe return, or information leading to it,” noting he was last seen around 2 a.m. on Sawmill Road on Sept. 3.

Brown's family members first reported him missing this past Friday, September 30.

Investigators say Rockne Brown, 34, was found deceased last Wednesday in a pond on Sawmill Road.

Authorities are trying to determine what happened to Brown.
