Thomas Carr charged with two counts of rape, two counts of producing, directing or promoting a sexual performance by a child and one count of bestiality.

Investigators also said other arrests related to this case are likely.


Now for the weird thing.. there is lady recently charged in Maine for child porn with the same last name....

Shocking how often these two crimes go hand in hand. My prayers for those little children and the pet too. So these children had literally been trained that this abuse was just part of everyday life, as it seems as if it started when they were infants/toddlers. And the children's mother knew. My heart also goes out to the foster family who has to grapple with these children's serious issues.

It's weird how she mentions on that Myspace

No matter she's locked up for not protecting kids.

As far as I know she's being charged with failure to protect the children. The victims are listed as two young girls. The children shown on her Myspace page seem to be a boy and a girl. So, I'm not certain as to the relative status. I saw nothing about overt threats, just failure to protect...possibly that could also mean a failure to report.

Could it also be possible that she's a mandated reporter, such as a child care provider or foster parent?

I'm really confused now. The link that Peeples linked to at the top of this thread has a headline which says that Carr admitted to the abuse. I guess he's changed his mind as he's surely not admitting to anything now and wants a jury trial. There's also been another arrest:

Christy Carr was placed on four years probation and ordered to serve 88 days in the Benton County Jail. She must pay $2,120 in court associated costs.

Thomas Carr, 32, pleaded guilty to rape charges in February 2o12, and was sentenced to 60 years in prison. He has to serve at least 42 years in prison before he will be eligible for parole.
