[h=2]Circumstances of Disappearance[/h] Bill Reed was last seen near Siloam Springs, Arkansas on or about August 13, 1987. Additional sources say that he has been missing since December 9, 1987, and was last seen in the Colcord and West Siloam Springs areas. He has not been seen or heard from since this time.

Reed was a local biker and known drug user thought to be working for local dealers. It is thought that he was killed over drug money. He was associated with persons involved in large-scale drug (marijuana and methamphetamine) and theft operations. His bike, a black Honda 1100, was eventually recovered. Several original suspects are now deceased, in prison, or on the run. In the past, Reed used three different dates of birth: March 12, 1955; March 31, 1955; and March 21, 1956. Mr. Reed's case was reopened at the request of his brother in 2007.

Thank you for starting this, this is my Bestie's Uncle he went by Bill, their Family has had two More horrible deaths, I cant tell you how how much I love these people and they definitely don't deserve all this tragedy , it would be great if we could help on this , rumor around town has always been he was killed and buried by some bikers , I know a few years ago the Benton County Sheriffs office was set to do some ground penetrating Radar but I'm not sure if the location .

DNA Identifies Remains As Missing Benton County Man

A Siloam Springs man was last seen by his family in 1987, and now decades later his family has closure after DNA matches the body of a man who was found dead not long after he disappeared in Oklahoma.

“With missing persons cases it`s very difficult to have a jumping off point,” said Detective Sergeant Hunter Petray.

William 'Bill' Reed went missing in August of 1987 and his family knew he may have been over the Siloam Springs border in Oklahoma when he disappeared.

“It was always known that Bill Reed was somewhat involved in some drug activity and hanging around numerous questionable people so to speak and rumors that he had been killed because he owed some drug money,” Petray said.

I walked in on REED's murder at the West Siloam, Oklahoma nightclub, NIGHTTOWN CLUB on August 13th 1987 about 4:30 or so that hot summer afternoon. I stopped in for a beer as the club is only a mile from my rural house back then down S. 705 Rd. at 58869.

I had to climb over REED's motorcycle blocking the Club's front door only to find myself looking down the barrel of Ted's 12ga sawed-off shotgun pointing at me from behind the bar.

Outside was a row of pickups to the west. I recognized a couple of them. One was my cousin's 1972 green Chevy 1/2 ton pickup.

Inside, I recognized several of the guys back by the back wall of the bar by the Men's Bathroom. I yelled out to everyone about the damn motorcycle parked in the front door! Ted yelled for them to, "GET BILL'S MOTORCYCLE OUT OF HERE BEFORE SOMEONE SEES IT !" Three of the five guys ran out and apparently loaded it into one of the pickups and hauled it to Sandusky, Oklahoma, 15 miles away via dirt road.

I didn't know they had just murdered Ted and PJ's (PJ is his now ex-wife) drug mule. I thought this Reed guy had maybe got in a fist fight ( which is true) and had ran off on foot or with someone.

That weekend, my cousin brought his 1972 Chevy pickup to my house a mile from the Club demanding I repair the damage to the chrome on the rear bumper. He stated the damage was "barb wire from dragging that ol boy 'round the parking lot up at the Club!"

I had no idea anyone was drug around the club. Key word here is "drUg". Anyway, I told my cousin I couldn't fix that...etc. He stated he was "gonna have to hide my pickup til that all cools off up at the Club." I still hadn't figured out what cousin was saying.

Years passed. In October 2022 until March 2023, I dated PJ. One afternoon, she came home and saw my notes on the Bill Reed murder and started freaking out...losing her mind ! (She knew I had worked in the Intelligence field for a company in Virginia and in fact, spoke a few times to my old boss on the phone.) Anyway, she became hysterical thinking I was an undercover FBI agent or similar. As PJ continued her hysterics, she admitted "Ted was the dealer! Bill was delivering it!"

Then she begged me not to call the cops on her. I wasn't putting together what she had just confessed. Did she just confess to REED's murder as well as implicated Ted and others in the deal? I KNEW Ted was involved since I walked in on the crime scene INSIDE him and PJ's NIGHTTOWN CLUB in 1987.

It was during our sordid relationship that I would see her phone number pop up on my cousin's Caller ID. Extremely strange, I thought. Especially since my cousin would quickly hide his phone from view. Hmmm......

PJ and I split in March 2023. She immediately concocted wild accusations against me to her daughter's Siloam cop neighbor of drive-by shootings ( while under surveillance), kidnapping plots and plans to "blow up" her house and (adult) kids for some reason.

In February 2025, I received a phone call advising me that Bill Reed was wrapped in barb wire and drAgged around the Nighttown Club parking lot alive! It was at that moment that it all came cascading down on me... Cousin's chrome rear bumper gouged down to the bare metal, drAgging that ol boy, PJ and my cousin comparing notes about what I was figuring out. THAT'S why other people at the bar would jokingly state that a person better be careful at Nighttown or the might get "drug in the parking lot!" DRAGGED...not drUg. They were saying dragged around the gravel parking lot. Not DRUG, as in narcotics, but drAgged like Bill Reed !

There you have it. The short version.

Ted and PJ were the drug dealers.
Bill Reed was their drug mule.
My cousin was the buyer they tried to rip-off.

And Me? I only wanted a cold beer that hot August day.

You're right. I made the whole thing up. Way too much factual content to be true.

I never lived a mile from Nighttown Club at 58869 S. 705 Rd. in 1987.
I wasn't one of Ted's crew driving the yellow Peterbilt.
I didn't walk in on Reed's murder about 4:30 that August 13th afternoon after climbing past his black 1100 Honda Shadow blocking the front door.
My cousin didn't beg me to fix the chrome rear bumper on his pickup from dragging Reed "skinning him alive" around the gravel parking lot tied with barb wire, as rumors claimed.
I didn't date PJ in winter 2022-2023.
She didn't confess or correct what I thought had happened by blurting out "Ted was the dealer! Bill was delivering it!!!" after she saw my case notes from back then.
PJ didn't brag and laugh that she, "lied to the detectives" when she was questioned in Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 2021 ( best guess), by OSBI.
PJ hasn't fled the state after I went public with all this.
PJ doesn't have THREE FELONY CONVICTIONS for drugs around the time Reed was murdered in a drug deal involving her and Ted's bar.
Ted didn't post veiled threats and that he, "...never told on you. Why are you telling on me!?" (ooops! He just confessed.)

Obviously not the story people want to hear about the murder being some big bad mystery out-of-towner boogeyman. Reed was murdered by a bunch of backwards- hicks in West Siloam over a couple hundred dollars worth of "cut" meth.

I already stated I will polygraph because I absolutely know for a fact that the majority of people can't believe torture & murder crimes like this happen without it being some all-encompassing government-backed terrorist group, political conspiracy.

Bill's remains were found in 1988 and remained unidentified until NamUs DNA hit in 2019.

He was found 1988 in Maize, Oklahoma over by Choteau, (east of Tulsa). They tortured and murdered him at Nighttown Club on August 13, 1987 around 4:30 in the afternoon. I walked in on the tail-end of what happened... I stopped in to get a cold beer on my way home and...DAMN!

I realized in 2025 that my cousin helped torture and murder Reed along with the bar owners.
I reported what I knew about all this in summer 1991 to DelCo once I figured out Reed was "missing". Within two weeks, the Sheriff office targeted me.
Why?
1. My cousin's dad was one of two West Siloam cops at the time. He literally had real-time access to the case file that his SON was guilty of involvement in as a torturer and murderer.

2. The dope Ted and PJ were trafficking was coming out of the Sheriff Office confiscated property room. It was "cut" so the evidence would still test positive and the rest was sold at the bar, Nighttown. Sheriff Hughes and Assistant D.A. David Thompson were caught and simply resigned... no arrest. (Good ol Boy System took over). By 1989 PJ had her THIRD felony (Benton County, Arkansas) conviction for "Counterfeit Drugs"... the "cut" they were swapping for the real dope just across the line in West Siloam where Nighttown was located.

3. I suspect my cousin quickly realized he/they were being ripped off with severely "cut" dope and the fight was "ON" with a "kill the messenger" type of situation developing.

At the bar, after I yelled about Reed's motorcycle blocking the front door at the Club, three men ran out at Ted's orders to get rid of it. They hauled it 16 miles via back roads to a 2nd bar in Sandusky where it was reportedly found a few days later.
