There have been posts made that state the gun was found in his car on arrest. I don't recall this being said by any credible media or CPD.

MM was not as smart as he thought he was. He kept the murder weapon in his car! Probably wanted to look at it from time to time and relive what he did to them.

Oh I absolutely believe that you never have to forgive someone if you don't want to. There can be a lot of power in refusing to forgive someone who abused you or someone you love. That refusal to forgive can be very healing, very empowering.

But there's a big difference between choosing not to forgive and deciding that all your problems are someone else's fault and you're going to hurt them for this perceived injustice. The first is a personal choice that only affects you. The second is about revenging yourself on somebody who in all likelihood had far less to do with your circumstances than you did.

Yes, and most comments I've heard from the media and podcasters is that MM is a really big guy, in fact they thought he was taller than the reported 6'2. JMO

She and her sister were soccer players. And she was a runner. Her height was an advantage for that.

And it doesnt even have to be about forgiveness, it’s about having the ability to move on, if you can do that you dont need to forgive anyone. That’s what’s they mean when they say forgiveness is about you, it’s about moving forward . but it’s not easy to get there..
In this guys case hes not a victim, hes a smart guy. Should be able to put things into perspective, and move on, but he couldnt, and he should have recognized that he needed help.He needed to seek help long time ago instead of going to hot yoga, ( as he posted) but then again his ego probably wouldnt let him go for counselling b/c nothing is ever his fault.

I disagree. There have been many horrible events in history that absolutely justified revenge. The public lynching of Akku Yadav by the women he tortured is a more recent case. In my eyes, totally justified.

You harm a child, three hots and a cot is much too nice a punishment as far as I'm concerned.

Philosophically, there is such a thing as morally justifiable revenge.

The best novel ever written about justifiable revenge is "The Count of Monte Cristo".

Before anyone twists my words, I do not believe the killer in any way was justified.

It is true that he kept the murder weapon in his car - at least long enough to transport it from Ohio to Illinois. He didn’t toss it along the way. He practically handed the police more evidence to use against him.

I don't think he lost it like he was fine and then one day he snapped. I think of it more like a slow build. We've heard rumors she had to escape the marriage, that he threatened her and threatened to "always be in her life" and "move to the house next door" -- so the signs were there that he was controlling and abusive.

The divorce clearly burned him and it probably festered like an open wound, at first he could go on without committing violence but the years went by and his life got worse and worse. Finally in 2025 it hit a breaking point, while failing at work, lacking romantic relationships, getting sued for malpractice, etc. basically he realized he was a loser...and that was the final straw. But this pattern of control and abuse was there the entire time.

Makes me think about that eye witness who saw OJ driving in his car after the murder being interviewed by a rag paper, and basically Marsha Clark removed her from the witness list. JMO

I agree. I think he has good intentions but he has said a lot of stuff he shouldn't share, and stuff that might come back to bite the prosecutors during trial. Hopefully it won't matter in the end, but talking about the 911 call for example and saying a guest at their party was having mental health issues at 3 AM in their house, that is gold for a defense attorney.

Good grief. Prozac does not cause people to commit vicious, brutal murders. In fact, the medication gives a normal brain chemistry so people can feel and act in normal ways.

I am willing to entertain almost any possibility and theory, but there has to be a modicum of data and logic to it.

2) nor about Prozac per se at all (as Eric H took another drug - unclear if he took it consistently, though!)

3) does it sound like I think antidepressant are bad? Not at all. I just say that “school shooters being on antidepressants indicates that school shooters demonstrating behavioral symptoms way before shooting” (hence the need in meds)

What does it mean when they said a preliminary link ?

It's basically a potential match, for example a 9mm hand gun was discovered at his property which could potentially match the 9mm shell casings at the Tepe residence.
In due course, forensics will likely be able to prove / disprove whether rounds recovered from the victims were actually fired from that particular gun.
