Not sure? What does it mean 4 or 7?It’s so hard to hear, does he say 4 on the back door or 7?

IDK a police can tell us, but it does sound like he says 3 males inside, but I think there was some confusion about the address, 4th and 7th and 4th and 8th 2 officers were responding , so Im not even sure what address they are even talking about in that call. Way too confusing to know for sure. Not sure? What does it mean 4 or 7
Agreed. I also speculate that LE believes this was a targeted attack vs a random killer roaming the streets. This thought is just based on the lack of information shared including no screenshot from a video or description for example. MOO I'm very hopeful an arrest will be announced in the next couple of days. Feel so awful for the children.Knowing the area, I have to believe they have something on video. It just seems like it would be nearly impossible to get into their house and then out of the area without being captured by at least a few cameras. I’m cautiously optimistic that CPD has a suspect in mind and is tracking them while they continue building their case.
Someone pointed out, on another site, the timing of the killing is odd if a targeted hit. Why not wait until Jan 1st, or the weekend when Spencer would be off work, and not missed, giving more time between event and discovery? Was it someone who wanted the kids to be found right away, to be safe and not alone? So, so many questions.
Bit soon imo for a colleague to call police for a no show at work .
Was Spencer worried about something that he confided in the colleague which had alarmed the colleague to phone so quickly . Combined with brother saying he feels its a targeted attack ,tells me something was going on in the background previously
It would seem if he was shot 4 times ,the killer had some emotional ( rage ,anger ,grudge) connection to him . Could it be an attempted extortion or black mail that didn't result in monies being handed over etc
I feel monique was the casualty because she witnessed her husband being shot
Thank god for small mercy's and the kids lives were spared
I wonder were gunshots heard or was a silencer or muffler used , still noisy but less so![]()
I agree Su5ie. It seemed a bit early for the staff to panic so much. Also on a local newscast they played the 911 call from the employer. He seemed quite worried about his employee who was not that late for work. Even if Spencer was always punctual, the degree of worry on the part of the employer and staff did not seem to match the situation at first.Bit soon imo for a colleague to call police for a no show at work .

I’m sorry for my typo. I believe he says 7A.It’s so hard to hear, does he say 4 on the back door or 7?
Sorry for my typo. It should have been 7A, not 4A.This YouTube video contains some of LE’s radio traffic from the morning of the crime. I believe this confirms that the friend was inside the home when he saw Spencer.
At the 10:38 minute mark in the video, I believe the officer says, “ There was a 7A on the back door. I have three males inside. They were doing a check, so someone can…”
I cant understand the rest of his sentence.
Police code 7A = Open door/window.
How can we even understand themI’m sorry for my typo. I believe he says 7A.
My concern is that if the suspect fled on foot east of the train tracks, footage may be much harder to come by.Knowing the area, I have to believe they have something on video. It just seems like it would be nearly impossible to get into their house and then out of the area without being captured by at least a few cameras. Sorry for my mistake. It’s not 4A. He said 7A, which is an open door/window.Not sure? What does it mean 4 or 7?
Definitely sounds like 7A to me; building/door open.Sorry for my typo. It should have been 7A, not 4A.
Thank you, wish we could make your post a sticky at the top of every page.As a dental professional id like to end for once and for all any speculation that it is strange or unusual in any way for Dr Tepe's employer to react this quickly. Main clinical staff including doctors and hygenists simply do not miss work with no warning . It just doesnt happen. ( If it did youd be fired immediately!) Sure things happen, people get sick or stuck in traffic, but they always call and make other staff aware so patient care can be coordinated appropriately.
The combination of the doctor not showing up, being unreachable, having his housemate (wife) also unreachable, and knowing there are vulnerable children in the home would trigger a wellness check within an hour from any dental clinic ive been part of.
In fact, we called a wellness check for a coworker when she and her housemate were unreachable and she no call/ no showed to work. We were also starting to majorly worry and decided to make the call at about the 1 hour mark about carbon monoxide or something unforseen.
Anyone else who has worked in such a clinic is welcome to chime in. I cant imagine no immediate concern and call for a doctor who simply hasnt shown up and has no reachable emergency contacts. It would be stranger to me if no one had reacted immediately.
I hope this puts this suspicion to bed for people. It simply isnt an issue.
I agree with our dental colleague who posted before this. The call is not suspicious. He probably had several patients waiting in chairs for dental exams. They definitely were anxious about just this situation. They wanted to know how to handle that, at least.I agree Su5ie. It seemed a bit early for the staff to panic so much. Also on a local newscast they played the 911 call from the employer. He seemed quite worried about his employee who was not that late for work. Yes did the staff know something was going on in the background which had them on high alert? Yes and the reports of a targeted attack.
Yes there was a degree of emotionality with a many gun shot wounds on Spencer, but only one with the wife.
I think you have identified important points.
Everyone is a suspect at this point. Even “concerned” coworkers and friends.Thank you, wish we could make your post a sticky at the top of every page.
He lived about an hour away from the dental office. Hence, asking police near the residence to perform a wellness check was the quicker and easier option. It would have been far weirder to send an employee on an hour-plus drive if they were truly concerned about his safety. Was really hoping there would be an update on this today from police.. Have been following the case and praying for their 2 children and families. It does seem odd to me that colleagues would call the police around 9am.. Only one hour late to work? Wouldn't they just go check themselves first.. Well, I guess they did later and police sure botched the first wellness check. It makes me think one of them was being stalked. Nothing surprises me anymore. I was clueless that I was being stalked by my 71 year old neighbor two houses down until two months into it.
I have a feeling police know a lot more than they're saying.
Did I say anything contrary to that in my post? Not sure why you are addressing me?Everyone is a suspect at this point. Even “concerned” coworkers and friends.
