''Beneath his placid demeanour,
Dr. Michael McKee was allegedly a grey, throbbing muscle of anger and “resentment.”
“They were married for such a brief time,” former FBI agent
Jennifer Coffindaffer told NewsNation. “That is strange, but I think it was a deep-seated resentment and hate that just built up and finally came to this conclusion.”
'Coffindaffer added that the suspected killer had been stalking the couple for days and had staked out the home. It’s likely the suspect also obtained a passcode for the door to the posh home.'
“They had staked out the location well. It was also very clear they knew where the camera locations were because they evaded a lot of camera coverage, it would seem,” she said.''
'While friends and colleagues may have had few suspicions about McKee, his former in-laws had no doubt. Monique Tepe’s family “all expected” McKee would be busted.'
“I think what’s going to be critical for the investigators is a lot of the online search capacity, a lot, are there any recent chats? Were there any changes in the suspect’s demeanour in the last few months, last few years that could start delineating some type of frustration, revenge, outrage, jealousy, depression, anything, but usually the long-standing separation from the relationship, something had to trigger,” Halstead said.'
