Atlanta' s bouncing baby panda gets his name

Today the baby panda boy down in Atlanta turned 100 days old. In keeping with Chinese tradition, he received his official name today: Xi Lan "shee lahn", translation is Atlanta's Joy. He is soooooooooooo cute, and I think he will grow up to be a big guy like his daddy Yang Yang!

Did you watch him on the Panda Cam when he was born? I agree he is sooooo cute. I can't wait for him to start walking. Thanks for posting this.

Not too many things more exciting than watching a baby panda being born! I just love watching him and mommy Lun Lun on Zoo Atlanta's site. She is an exceptional mommy, not only to Xi Lan, but also was to his big sis Mei Lan!
