Four children have been killed and another is in critical condition after allegedly being hit by an out-of-control 4WD while riding their bikes.

3 of the children killed are reported to be siblings. I couldn't go on. How can you? My heart is heavy tonight.

A 10-year-old boy has a critical head injury and has been intubated.

“A 10-year-old female has been transported to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead with pain to her arm and lacerations to head,” she said.

“A 13-year-old female who also went to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead with shoulder and hand pain and abrasions to legs.”

Grieving mother 'in shock' as drink driver who killed four children gets jail term slashed

The mother of one of four children killed when drunk driver Samuel Davidson lost control of his car in 2020 says she's been left devastated and "in shock" by an eight-year reduction in the man's jail term.

In a judgement published on Friday, the court reduced Davidson's sentence to 20 years, with a non-parole period of 15 years.
