Ms Williams said there had been animosity between owners and a group of residents who wanted to ban dogs from the reserve.
Five dogs die after suspected poisonings at a popular Sunshine Coast beach
Pet owners have been urged to stay vigilant after a spate of suspected poisonings in an area popular with dog walkers.

What a low and cowardly act, poisoning beautiful innocent dogs, this is the work of a cold hearted person/s, maybe, a psychopath!
I advise to be vigilant after a person angrily opposes your use of a leash off dog park. It’s so heartbreaking seeing the pictures of the lovely dogs, their owners are devastated, Sophie was a rescue dog, their life cut short by a heartless person!
I hope the law catches up with them before more dogs are killed!
