Police have urged the public not to approach the man wanted for questioning after a fatal stabbing at a hairdressing salon.

Police spokesman Sam Dinnison said Mr Payet was believed to be driving a silver Honda Civic wagon, registration 1DHZ 086.


"Anyone who sees this vehicle or Mr Payet is asked to call 000 immediately," he said.

A 33-YEAR-OLD woman has been fatally stabbed at a hair salon in Perth's southern suburbs.

A second woman was also injured in the attack at Como and has been taken to hospital where she is in a stable condition.

Police are looking for James Bill Payet, 48, who they believe can assist them with their investigation.

Payet, 48, will be eligible for parole after serving 25 years jail, backdated to his arrest in March last year.

He pleaded guilty in February to five charges, including murder and grievous bodily harm.

On Tuesday the Supreme Court was told how Payet, who stabbed his ex-wife to death and attacked his pregnant stepdaughter in a Como hair salon, had terrorised Angela Ferullo, 43, for months before her murder.
